Active in the travel industry since 1980, Kris became an independent contractor and consultant in 1984. Her extensive travel and experience as an on-site coordinator, coupled with her skills as a local Chicago tour organizer and meeting planner, ultimately led her to launch Chicago Meetings and More Inc in 2003, and later expanding it to a regional receptive operation dba Midwest Meetings & More. Having lived abroad in France and Spain, Kris is fluent in French and Spanish and is sensitive to the unique requirements of international travelers. As a seasoned planner, she knows how to elevate an event to the next level and to facilitate a quality program that’s right on target.

Originally from upstate New York, Steve graduated from Central College in Pella, Iowa, with a degree in Business Management and French. In addition to living in various states of the East and Midwest USA, he had the good fortune to live in France for two extended periods of time. With a life-long interest in languages, Steve has studied French, Spanish, German, Italian, and Dutch. With a background in several industries, including travel, state government and health care, and functioning in many capacities, Steve is enjoying a return to the meeting & travel industry since joining CM&M in February 2008.
